Today we went on a scavenger hunt looking for materials that birds use to build nests. We looked in the habitat and the garden for items like twigs, grass, mud, and leaves. While we were looking for different items we had a great idea ---- let's try to build a nest with our findings! So we took all the materials we collected an tried to build a bird nest. We discovered that is was hard than we thought.

Here are some of the comments shared while we were builds:
"This is hard."
"Remember birds are born with the instinct to know how to build a nest."
"No wonder it takes birds weeks to build a nest, this is hard!"
